On July 19th, the Holy Orthodox Church observes the holy day in celebration of the Venerable Sisoes the Great.  Our church observed this holy day through Divine Liturgy.  The Venerable Sisoes is the Protector Saint of all children, and because of this many of our parishioniers’ children attended Liturgy and received the body and blood of Christ through Holy Communion.  After Liturgy there was a brief prayer for the health and well being of all children.
