On April 12th, 2009 the holiday of Palm Sunday – The Entrance of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Jerusalem Holy Divine Liturgy was lead by his Eminence Metropolitan Metodij of our American-Canadian Macedonian Orthodox Diocese together with Very Rev Dragi Trpeski, Very Rev Mitko Poposki, Very Rev Sinisa Ristovski & the Diocese Deacon Stevan Barjaktarov.  It was truly wonderful to be at our church on Palm Sunday,  our church was decorated in Palm branches and when our parishioners entered our church it was as if the were entering the Holy City of Jerusalem. 

During Divine Liturgy Metropolitan Metodij lead a sermon for Palm Sunday and its significance in our Orthodox Faith.   During the Divine Liturgy Father Sinisa Ristovski was promoted in a ceremony by His Eminence Metropolitan Metodij to the rank Very Reverend and Elder priest of our beloved church.  Afterwards Holy Communion was received by many of our church faithful  from Metropolitan Metodij for their period of fasting during this Great Lent.  The Womens’ Auxiliary also prepared a Lenten Luncheon in our Hall for everyone after Liturgy.
